The Alzheimer’s Resource Center is holding a “Walk to Remember" October 13th at Westgate Park in Dothan.
The special anniversaries walk this year will celebrate 15-years of walking and honor all previous walk chairpersons.
The center's goal is to provide continued programs and support for Alzheimer’s victims and their families.
Executive Director Kay Jones says, “It is very instrumental to the life of our organization. It's the one time of year that we go to the community and ask for their financial support.”
All money raised stays in the local area to help nearly 10-thousand Alzheimer’s patients in southeast Alabama and the Florida Panhandle.
