Work on a busy stretch of highway in Dothan moves to the night shift next week.
A project to resurface West Main Street outside the Ross Clark Circle to the Dothan city limits began last month.
Traffic is heavy in that area and motorists were sometimes slowed to a stand-still.
Construction crews are ready to begin working on the other side of the 4-lane highway.
Workers are scheduled to begin milling, resurfacing and striping the section between the circle and Phillips Terrace Sunday evening.
Transportation officials expect the night work to last about a week.
Motorists are urged to slow down and use caution in construction areas.
