Nearly a year-ago, Brian Watson caused more than $50,000 in damage to more than a dozen soft drink machines in and around Dothan. Friday night he's in the Geneva County Jail on similar charges.
The 28-year-old Malvern man once again is in trouble with the law. Watson has reportedly violated his probation and late Friday afternoon, Slocomb police officers made the arrest.
Brian Watson faces seven-counts of theft of property and seven-counts of criminal mischief.
Slocomb Police Chief David Land says his department along with Hartford and Geneva police pieced together the crimes.
In each case, Watson used a screwdriver and a clothes hanger to get inside the machines. He not only stole hundreds of dollars worth of currency, but also caused thousands of dollars to the machines themselves.
In addition to the charges in Geneva County, Watson is expected to be interviewed for several recent vending machine vandalism cases in Holmes County Florida.
Chief Land tells News 4 that one other arrest is anticipated in this case.
Watson is awaiting his first appearance in a Geneva County courtroom.
