The murder trial of a Geneva County man is scheduled to begin Monday morning in Dothan.
22-year-old Seth Davis of Slocomb is charged with the shooting death of a Dothan man.
28-year-old Hollis Salinas was last seen alive in April of 2004.
Investigators say someone tried to set fire to his apartment the night he disappeared.
The victim's bullet-riddled body was found floating in the little Choctawhatchee River in Dale County two weeks later.
Davis was arrested several months later.
Prosecutors contend that DNA evidence links Davis to the crime.
Jury selection in the case is scheduled to begin Monday before circuit Judge Ed Jackson.
