Coffee Springs Grant

The City of Coffee Springs has qualified for a $78,000 state grant to repair a swimming pool.

The pool was built in 1912 and is fed by a natural spring. It was closed to the public two years ago because it was in need of renovations.

Now, the mayor says that work can be done and it can be a good place for recreation once again.

He hopes to finish the job by next June.
