Federal Officials Investigate Small Plane Crashes in Panhandle

NICEVILLE, Fla. (AP) - Federal aviation officials have begun investigating a small plane crash in Okaloosa County.

Four people were hospitalized after Wednesday's crash.

Authorities say the pilot, Bob Wright, and Ben Harris are in serious condition. The other two passengers -- Jeffrey and Stephan Harris -- suffered minor injuries and have been released from the hospital.

Officials say the single engine Beechcraft airplane went down at Ruckel Airstrip in Niceville, just east of Pensacola.

The cause of the crash has not been determined.
