A one-time high school football player in Northwest Florida finds himself in trouble with the law again.
Washington County deputies arrested Tyler Porter over the weekend during a routine traffic stop.
The 21-year-old suspect allegedly had a police scanner and other illegal equipment in his vehicle.
Authorities say those are misdemeanor offenses but additional charges could be filed. Initially sentenced to prison, Porter is now on probation for bomb threats he made at both Marianna and Chipley High Schools.
The threats were phoned in on the infamous day of Sept. 11 2001.
