The Alfred Saliba Family Services Center received a $150,000 continuation grant from Gov. Bob Riley.
The grant enables the center to provide services aimed at helping people in Houston, Henry and Geneva Counties find jobs and become self sufficient.
The center works with other agencies to offer job and classroom training.
It also helps people find employment and counselors provide follow-up services to help participants improve job performance.
The executive director of the center says this gives the center the ability to continue working with the career link to the employment service.
