Several law enforcement agencies raided a couple of rooms at a Wiregrass motel Tuesday night. Two-people from Northwest Florida now face several drug-related charges.
Authorities say 31-year-old Michael Arnold, and 39-year-old Ottie Gates used the rooms to manufacture crystal meth. Both list addresses in Holmes County.
They’ve been booked into the Geneva County Jail on both manufacture and possession of methamphetamine and they also reportedly had drug paraphernalia in the room.
Geneva Police and the Geneva County Drug Task Force conducted the raid at the Geneva motel.
Police say they believe the suspects were producing and then selling the drug on the street.
The trend these days are for the labs to be as mobile as possible.
Both Arnold and Gates are awaiting first appearance. In addition, Arnold is reportedly wanted on an outstanding felony warrant from Holmes County.
