The only confusion for Hillcrest students who started back to school Thursday was how to find their way around a new state-of-the-art building.
Tornado destroyed the Hillcrest Elementary School next to Enterprise High School.
The K-6 grade students started off the day with a tour of their temporary two-year school, which will eventually be the Enterprise Early Childhood Education Center.
Wanda Krafft's kindergarten class started the day with dancing and singing before getting down to business coloring.
“It was good to see all their smiling faces knowing that they all have a place of their own,” said Krafft.
Enterprise was not the only school district to start back Thursday; Dothan City Schools students also returned to class.
Houston County goes back Friday and Henry County Classes reconvene on Monday.
