David Armstrong was named chancellor of the Florida Community College System, and Daniel Papp chancellor of the Division of Colleges and Universities.
Papp, the senior vice chancellor for the Academics and Fiscal Affairs of the University System of Georgia, edged out two other candidates for the position.
Armstrong has been the interim chancellor of the Florida Community College System for more than a year.
