A man near Skipperville makes a grim discovery right on his own front lawn.
Authorities say a pick-up truck crashed in front of a house off County Road 23 around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday and burst into flames. But, it wasn't until 9 a.m. that the truck and body were discovered.
Authorities say they will have to run DNA tests to confirm the identity of the victim. Most of the body was disintegrated in the fire.
The homeowner says he did hear a crash around 1:30 a.m., but never got out of bed to check.
Ironically, there was another fatal crash Wednesday afternoon, less than 4-miles from this crash. The identity of that victim was confirmed she is 87-year-old Lillian E. Nash.
