Fifty-six-year-old Kenneth Wayne Smith turned himself in at the Geneva County Jail Monday afternoon.
The retired computer technician was charged with three counts and freed on a $37,500 bond.
His arrest wrapped-up a three-month investigation after police allegedly found pornographic pictures in his computer.
Sources say some of those pictures include a trio of seven and eight-year-old girls from Smith’s own neighborhood around Water Street in Geneva.
Defense Attorney David Harrison says his client is innocent and has no prior record or felony convictions.
The case allegedly came to light when one of the children involved told a parent who contacted Geneva Police.
Smith faces up to life behind bars on each count if he's convicted.
