DOTHAN, AL - Nine people were arrested in a prostitution sting Tuesday.
According to the Dothan City Jail docket, three of the nine suspects were from Dothan. The others are from Enterprise, Fort Rucker, Ozark, Slocomb, Midland City and South Dakota.
All of the charges are misdemeanors.
41-year-old Hugh Ward Wheelless of Dothan and 28-year-old Nasser Bader Alomaim of Fort Rucker are charged with prostitution. Wheelless is the former chairman of the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce.
The following were charged with third-degree prostitution:
-Dexter Tyrone Parks, 41, of Dothan
-Donald Lee Dean, 27, of Enterprise
-Hetalkumar Navinc Shah, 37, of Dothan
-Camren Keith Kirkland, 22, of Midland City
-Timothy John Pfaff, 30, of Madison, SD
-Lewis Jerrod Thompson, 27, of Ozark
-Ronald Joseph Lawrence, 25, of Slocomb
