The city personnel board holds its first meeting after a judge limits their investigation into the Dothan Police Department and its chief.
As expected, the board is not satisfied with the judge's decision.
The four out of five members of the board present at Friday’s meeting all said the ruling handcuffs their duties.
They say it was never a witch-hunt for Chief John White, it was a probe into who was keeping tabs on city employees.
Now, they say, they cannot do their jobs.
Late Friday afternoon the board went into executive session and decided to appeal the judge's ruling.
