A Dothan daycare is shut down and the state Department of Human Resources suspended the owner's license.
DHR suspended the daycare license of Linda Ann Clark yesterday. The suspension came on the heels of drug charges leveled against her.
Linda Clark and her husband, John, were arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine.
Narcotics officers allegedly found meth in Clark’s purse at Little Friends Daycare on Highway 84 West in Dothan.
The state director of childcare services for DHR, Debbie Thomas, says Clark’s license was suspended because of concern for the health and safety of the children at the daycare center.
Clark was licensed to care for as many as 60 children.
