Geneva Police say they've been hit with an onslaught of bad checks.
Over the weekend, they arrested a man who allegedly wrote several bogus checks on both sides of the stateline.
William Curry was booked into the Geneva County Jail on nine-counts of possession of a forged instrument.
Authorities say he wound-up ripping off numerous businesses in both Geneva and Holmes Counties.
Florida officials have placed a hold on curry to face charges there, following his prosecution in Alabama.
Geneva Police remind business owners to make sure they get the driver's license number and other important identification information before allowing someone to pay by check.
