By early next year, cancer patients who need radiation treatment will be able to stay closer to home.
Groundbreaking took place Thursday for the Enterprise Cancer Center. It’ll be located adjacent to Medical Center Enterprise.
The $2-million facility will provide radiation treatments for cancer patients in Geneva, Coffee, Covington and Dale Counties.
Many of these people are forced to travel to Dothan, Montgomery, Panama City, and Crestview, Florida for treatments.
The 5,100 square foot building is expected to be completed by January 2005.
