The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office and its Fugitive Warrants Unit have arrested two suspects wanted in connection with three Alabama bank robberies.

The team was assisting the FBI Mobile Office when they learned the two suspects, 30 year old Jerry Hover Tinsley of 357 Poplar Creek, Rutherfordton North Carolina and 30-year old Rhianna Marie Jones of California, were staying at the Motel 6 on Harbor Boulevard in Destin.

The pair was spotted leaving the motel around 11:15 p.m. Thursday, March 18th, in a gold Chevrolet Impala. Investigators attempted a traffic stop in the parking lot but the suspects took off at a high rate of speed. The driver eventually turned into Sea Hills Drive, a dead end road in Destin, and was arrested by deputies. The female suspect ran from the car but was captured on foot a short time later.

Deputies found cocaine and Oxycontin in Tinsley's possession.

The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office has charged Tinsley with Fleeing and Eluding at High Speed, Resisting Arrest Without Violence, and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Jones is charged with Resisting Arrest Without Violence.

They face additional charges from the FBI.
