At Least Seven Die in Weekend Traffic Accidents

UNDATED, Ala. (AP) - Alabama state troopers say at least seven people died in weekend traffic accidents across the state.

The death toll includes 57-year-old Paul Robbins, a Patriot Guard

He was killed Saturday morning when his motorcycle crash into a truck while on his way to honor a Locust Fork soldier killed in Iraq. The collision happened on Blount County 13 between Alabama 160 and Alabama 79.

A one-vehicle wreck early Sunday claimed the life of another Prattville man. Troopers said 28-year-old Relondo Delson died when the vehicle he was driving ran off Highway 14, about half-mile east of Autaugaville. The crash occurred at about 2:20 a.m.

Another single-vehicle crash Sunday morning in Mobile County killed an 18-year-old male from Grand Bay. Troopers said a vehicle driven by William Irwin ran off Interstate 10, about seven miles west of Mobile. The crash occurred shortly before 6 a.m.

The Department of Public Safety said other traffic fatalities were recorded in Coffee, Baldwin, Jefferson and Montgomery counties.
