Homicide suspect Vincent Roger Harris has agreed to return voluntarily to Tennessee where he is wanted in the death of his father-in-law.
Jackson County sheriff's deputies captured Harris on Interstate 10 late Sunday night and have been holding him in custody, awaiting the outcome of a possible extradition hearing.
Tennessee authorities are expected to return Harris to that state within the next 15 days.
Authorities in Nashville say Harris allegedly doused his father in law; John Lipscomb McCullough with a flammable liquid and then set the man on fire. Harris faces charges in Tennessee of criminal homicide and aggravated battery.
Jackson County and other local law enforcement agencies had been notified the suspect might be traveling in the Florida Panhandle.
