A preliminary autopsy report indicates that 52-year-old Luis Arguello was shot to death.
Lieutenant Roy Woodham of the criminal investigations division says Arquello was apparently gunned down with a small caliber weapon.
Police were called to Arguello's home on Haven Drive early Friday morning after a neighbor noticed a door was open. The man's body was found on the floor just inside the doorway. Investigators say there were signs of a struggle. They also say the victim's roommate was home at the time of the incident, but apparently slept through the attack.
Lieutenant Woodham says investigators are running down some leads in the case, but they don't have a suspect and no arrest has been made.
Police could use some help in this case. If you know anything about Arquello's murder, you're asked to call Crimestoppers at 793-7000. You don't have to give your name and you could be eligible for a reward of up to one-thousand dollars.
