Daniel Stamaris, a former Blackhawk Helicopter crew chief from Headland, is among 17 former Desert Storm Prisoners of War whose suit against the Republic of Iraq has been dismissed by a Federal Appeals Court.
Stamaris tells the Dothan Eagle it's just, "Very ironic that our own government would step in on behalf of Saddam Hussein and Iraq to get our case overturned."
