A business based out of Miami, Florida has announced it will consolidate it's entire operation and relocate to Dothan.
Local leaders have been working for several months to bring "Key Fire Hose Industries" to the wiregrass.
Officials say the new business will be the world's largest manufacturer of fire hoses.
“Those key management positions will be relocated and then he (the owner) will hire additional production workers here locally here in the coming months, so we're looking for a transition period of about 4 to 6 months,” said Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce President Matt Parker.
Officials have not released how many positions will be filled or where the business will be located.
