Some officials are issuing a warning to the governor and his task force.

Senator Bobby Singleton says he will not let Greene County residents down and that he will make sure that their facility stays up and running.

He says there are too many people that rely on the jobs and money the facility funnels into the community.

Singleton went as far as to say that unless the governor's task force shows up with a warrant, he would use any force necessary to keep them out.

Sen. Bobby Singleton, (D) AL 24th District, says, "As a Senator for this area will go to our local sheriff and ask him to deputize as many men as possible that are needed to meet this force.”

Singleton says the bingo ordinance on the books in Greene County was voted on by the people, which makes the facility legal.
