The Holmes County Sheriff's office is looking for two men involved in an armed robbery and shooting Saturday evening.
The incident happened at a home, next door to a gaming facility. Officers searched the area for hours but no arrest made.
Lt. Chris Wells with the Holmes County Sheriff's Office said, "Tracking dogs called to dirt road with signs of a vehicle that spun out and witnesses think its beige."
Witnesses say the suspect is a black male about 5 foot 7 inches tall weighing about 140 pounds. Officers are focusing a lot of attention on the case and hope to make an arrest soon.
"Whoever committed this crime is dangerous he used a firearm has no remorse for life and we need to get him off the streets," said Lt. Wells.
The shooting victim is the owner of the gambling business next door to his home.
Officers say the suspect most likely knew cash was kept at the house next door and probably visited the business before committing the crime.
"We believe there may be witnesses who have observed some information we need to put this guy in jail," said Lt. Wells.
Officers have few details to work with to help identify the suspects and are relying on the public to help generate leads.
Authorities are searching for a black male between 5' 6" - 5' 8" and 140 pounds. He was last seen in a beige or tan colored vehicle, possibly a Crown Victoria.
