Pemco union workers met today to discuss proposed changes to their collective bargaining agreement.

According to union members, Pemco accountants say the company isn't making enough money and wants the union to make concessions.

Part of those concessions include a pay cut, less holidays, a four day work week and the loss of double time pay.

Union members say that the company says if they don’t go along with proposed changes they could risk losing their jobs.

Henry Perrigin, Business Rep for IM District 75, says, “ the company is telling us that it may curtail operations here or maybe even end up closing the facility. “

No one from Pemco was available for comment.
