Here's an update on story News 4 told you about last month.
There are more problems for a Geneva County couple that are alleged to have attacked several teens with baseball bats. Ronald and Marsha Brannon allegedly hit the girls on a dirt road in the Faydette Community, just South of Slocomb. The victims were reportedly fighting with the Brannon’s teenage daughter.
Now, the charges have been upgraded from a misdemeanor to a felony. Each is charged with two-counts of "assault second." One of the injured girls may require surgery.
The Brannon’s have been released from jail on bonds totaling $5,000. Their case is scheduled to go before a Geneva County grand jury in August.
