A man that Wiregrass authorities call very dangerous makes his first appearance in court Tuesday.
Jason Lamar Tomlin is charged with three-counts of shooting into occupied residences. That's in addition to shooting into unoccupied buildings and vehicles.
Authorities say the 24-year-old Geneva County man was the suspect who shot at Geneva County Sheriff Greg Ward's home in Hartford last January.
Police Chief Greg Adams says Tomlin also shot at other homes, as well as the city's municipal courtroom. He reportedly used a .20-gauge shotgun in the shootings.
Tomlin is behind bars at the Geneva County jail. A motive has not been given.
The Hartford Police and Geneva County Sheriff’s Department arrested him after a joint investigation.
