A local solider who died in Iraq was remembered Sunday in a memorial service.
25-year old sergeant William Edward Brown was killed June 21st when Iraqi insurgents attacked his unit.
Friends and family honored Brown in a memorial service held in Enterprise.
Governor Riley sent a certificate to Brown's family, thanking them for their sacrifice.
The Mayor of Enterprise also presented a certificate on behalf of himself and all the residents of Enterprise.
Brown's body will be laid to rest in Dothan at Memory Hill Cemetery
