Two men accused of starting a jail riot last month in Dale County have been indicted.
A grand jury indicted 43-year old Kent Stewart and 24-year old Katoni Teller. Each face attempted murder, assault, escape and criminal mischief charges.
On May 11th, deputies say the men tried to escape, leaving two correction officers and an inmate injured.
The two have since been transferred to a state prison.
District Attorney Kirke Adams said other inmates have also been charged, but not yet indicted.
