The worst drought in a half-century has had a devastating effect on agriculture in Alabama, but one local crop is thriving.
Forrest Haynes owns a u-pick blueberry farm on Geneva County Road 16; he says this is his best batch of berries in nearly a decade.

His customers come as far away as Atlanta to buy the healthy fruit.
Haynes says the blueberry season will wind-down in July.
