Reward Offer in Dothan Business Shooting and Murder Case

A local business is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction for a murder that happened early Tuesday morning.

The Panhandle Converter and Scrap company lost its manager about 3 am Tuesday morning.

37-year-old Perry Griffin was killed by criminals who were after the business' money.

Crimestopers is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest in the case.

The actual crime was caught on tape by the businesses' surveillance camera, but some of that footage has been edited because it's graphic nature.

“They robbed this community of a great man, a great father and a great husband and a great friend, a very very good friend,” said Joe Donovan.

Police ask that anyone who has any information to call Crimestoppers at 793-7000.

Information leading to an arrest has a reward of $1,000 on top of the $10,000 offered by the company.
