A Georgia man charged in a weekend murder case has made his first court appearance in Dothan.
Twenty-four-year-old Jeremiah Alexander Elliot of Albany is accused in the stabbing death of Patrick Flowers. The stabbing happened about dawn Saturday at a Dothan apartment complex.
Flowers was pronounced dead at Southeast Alabama Medical Center.
Sources say the stabbing happened during an argument over Flowers' wife.
Elliot is being held without bond in the Houston County Jail. He is scheduled to be back in court for a bond hearing later this week.
