The success of Operation Wiregrass Round-up earlier this week came after weeks of careful planning and even then, some of the fugitives who were targeted were not caught.
Members of the Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Taskforce were not able to arrest nine of the people they were looking for.
Often times, taskforce members look for fugitives in one place without success.
But the cooperation between each participating agency makes it easier to re-group and track the fugitives down.
Deputy Marshal Scott Recchio says, "You can't have the compass always facing north. It's just like a compass; you may be moving straight ahead, but you may have to take a right or left turn. You never know."
