DOTHAN, Ala. – Country Crossing brings NBC’s 2009 winner of America’s Got Talent, Kevin Skinner, and fan-favorite LoCash Cowboys to the venue’s first New Year’s Eve Celebration.

Skinner, a native of Dublin, Ky., won the 2009 America’s Got Talent contest with his down-home appeal and the moving country music he played. As a young man, he worked odd jobs during the day and played his music at night in local hangouts in Dublin, working toward a shot at country music stardom. That all came true for Skinner in September of this year.

“I’m really amazed and humbled by it all,” says Skinner. “I’ve played music all my life and to have an opportunity to share it with the world is a dream come true. It is also an honor to be a part of Country Crossing’s first New Year’s Eve party. It’ll be a great event, and I can’t wait to perform with LoCash.”

Skinner will share the stage with the show’s hosts, Chris Lucas and Preston Brust – LoCash Cowboys, on Dec. 31 at Country Crossing to ring in the New Year. This will be the debut performance for Skinner since winning the contest in September and will also be his first experience with the high-energy duo, LoCash Cowboys.

The evening will consist of solo performances from Skinner and the LoCash Cowboys and also a combined performance from the groups. For information regarding LoCash Cowboys, please contact Claire Ratliff at claire@websterpr.com.
