Motorists traveling on Highway 231 north were forced to take a detour after a dump truck lifted its bed and hit several power lines, shutting down a section of the highway.
The accident happened earlier Wednesday afternoon along the stretch of road that is being repaved.
A dump truck carrying asphalt lifted its bed beneath a set of power lines and accidentally brought them down.
The power lines fell on another truck, but road crews were able to quickly clear the cables.
Fortunately no one was injured.
