Students at Kelly Springs Elementary donated over 15-hundred cans of food to the Salvation Army Food Drive.

It was in a competition among the grades.

The winning class brought in 372 cans, and gave up their snack money to donate to buy more cans.

"I feel really proud we did that for them. We got to help them get the food for them," said Justin Jimenez, student.

"I was glad to help the food drive," said Mary Hawkins, student.

Don't worry, they didn't go hungry.

Their teachers brought in snacks for them to eat.

The food drive lasted two weeks.
