Florida Woman Killed in Crash
A Jackson County woman is dead after a Sunday afternoon car crash.

A Jackson County woman is dead after a Sunday afternoon car crash.
Eighty-one year old Alice Yates of Marianna, Florida was killed when her car failed to yield the right of way and travelled into the path of an oncoming SUV.
The wreck occurred at the intersection of State Road 71 and County Road 275 in Calhoun County.
The driver of the other vehicle,37- year old Jermaine K. Battles, and passenger, 43- year old William K. Simmons, both of Blountstown, were transported to Bay Medical Center in serious condition.
Yates was transported to Calhoun-Liberty Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The crash remains under investigation.
