Parents in Geneva waited in line for more than three straight days to get their children enrolled in a state sponsored child care facility.
The Alabama Office of School Readiness has funding for only 18 children in Geneva County.
Beginning Wednesday morning, parents camped out at the Sandbox Child Care facility in Geneva.
The enrollment took place at midnight last night. If someone left the property before enrollment, they lost their place in line.
It led to tense moments for one grandmother.
