A man who police say stole a car in Ashford with a child inside has turned himself in.
Otis Whitt was first wanted for questioning, after a surveillance tape allegedly showed him stealing a car from an Ashford gas station.
Inside the car was 4-year-old Timothy Ready.
The boy was later found unharmed in the car at a Dothan housing project.
Whitt has been charged with 2nd degree kidnapping and 1st degree theft.
The suspect also has an outstanding warrant for back child support.
He is in the Houston County Jail with bonds totaling $120,000 dollars.
