Friday is the deadline to register to vote in Alabama’s June 5th Special Election.
Voters across the state will head to the polls to decide the fate of two-proposed constitutional amendments.
The first one would increase the bonding authority of the capital improvement trust fund from 350 to 750 million dollars.
The change would provide more money to attract new industry.
The 2nd Amendment would create two trust funds to help cover healthcare costs of retired state employees and educators.
Election officials are expecting a light turn-out for the referendum.
