Outdoor sirens and weather radios are believed to be responsible for saving hundreds of lives during the March 1st Tornado in Enterprise.
At Enterprise City Hall dozens of free weather radios were given to residents.
The Alabama Trial Lawyers Association raised nearly $5,000 to purchase them for those least able to afford them.
It's hoped the radios will give area residents a heads-up on severe weather.
"30-million dollars here in Enterprise in property damage…we hope that this donation will bring an alert to folks who normally can't afford a weather radio," said Niko Corley of Alabama Trial Lawyers Assoc.
There are some still available at the old sessions house in Downtown Enterprise. That's the home being used by the recovery center of Coffee County.
