Man Gets 99 Years for 2004 Robbery/Shooting

The man accused of robbing and killing a grocery store clerk plead guilty to felony murder.

Tarris Turner was sentenced to 99-years for the murder and 20-concurrent years for the robbery.

In April 2004, three men robbed the Southeast Mini-Mart located at the corner of Cottonwood Road and Third Avenue.

Fifty-four-year-old Prah-Kash Shah was shot during the hold-up and the suspects fled empty-handed.

Ray Grace, another suspect in the case, has already been sentenced to life in prison.
