Holmes County Murder Investigation

Authorities in two states are still trying to solve the death of a Dothan woman. A reward is still being offered in the case.

Fifty-year-old Sharon Mills had been missing for six weeks when a prison road crew found her remains in a ditch near Bonifay, Florida in February.

Investigators checked reports of a suspicious car in the area about the time the woman disappeared. They've also tried to determine if Mills was killed somewhere else, and her body dropped at that location.

An autopsy was inconclusive on the cause of death. Investigators are still waiting for test results from a state crime lab.

Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information in the case. The number is 793-7000 and investigators say all callers will remain anonymous.
