Three fallen Dothan Police officers were remembered in a ceremony Tuesday.
Dothan Mayor Pat Thomas read a proclamation for national police week and Alabama Attorney General Troy King helped place a wreath in honor of the fallen officers.
Corporal Robert Armstrong was killed in an alcohol related collision.
Sergeant Shelby Owens was killed in a motorcycle accident and Sergeant Robert Jackson was gunned down in his driveway.
Jackson's killer is still on the loose.
“We continue to investigate his death everyday along with the FBI and also the attorney general's office,” said Dothan Police Chief John Powell.
District Attorney Doug Valeska pledged 10 thousand dollars to buy a memorial marker on which to place our fallen officers' names.
