City Manager Hunt

The search for a new Dothan city manager is starting to pick up steam again. The city is preparing to place ads in national publications and on websites.

Applications for the position will be accepted until June 10, but it will still take several months before the job is filled.

In the meantime, Commissioner James Reading wants to hire an interim city manager. Right now Jerry Corbin is running the city. He's also the acting director of Dothan utilities and he still has many responsibilities in the Public Works Department.

The City Commission is expected to discuss whether to hire another interim city manager at its meeting next Tuesday.
