Cancer survivors and those touched by the disease spent Friday night taking part in Houston County’s Annual Relay For Life.
About 350 people gathered at the National Peanut Festival Fairgrounds to walk in memory of those who have lost their battle with cancer and in honor of those who have survived.
Usually they hold the 12-hour event outdoors, but because of rain it had to be moved inside.
Organizers say they hope to have raised around $120,000 for the fight against cancer.
