Absentee Ballots

Some residents of Bullock County, which had the highest number of absentee ballots in the state during the June 4 primary election, want Alabama's attorney general and his Democratic opponent to investigate allegations of voter fraud.

Several allegations were supported by sworn affidavits from people who said they either witnessed the theft of absentee ballots from mailboxes or saw people being paid for voting absentee.

The allegations involve Democratic races only.
