Dothan Robbery

Crime Stoppers

The Dothan News Company near the corner of Foster and Troy Streets was held up shortly after noon Monday.

A man with a brown bag over his head entered the store and demanded money.

One hand was covered by a towel, but appeared to carry a handgun.

The suspect took off his t-shirt and threw it down outside the store, where police discovered it. He got away with an undisclosed amount of money and was last seen running north on Foster Street.

Police are on the look-out for a 40-year-old black male about 6’1” tall and weighing about 185 pounds.

CrimeStoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 in the case.
